Major General Bin Brik discusses with Al-Jabwani the situation in Shabwa governorate

The Chairman of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council, Major General Ahmad Saeed Bin Brik, met on Tuesday at the headquarters of the National Assembly, with the Head of the Executive Board of Local Leadership of the Council in Shabwa governorate Ali Ahmed Hassan Al-Jabwani.

The meeting discussed the general situation in Shabwa, as a result of the deterioration of all service sectors, and the general and rampant corruption in them, and the violations committed by the Brotherhood’s militias against the cadres of the Transitional Council in Shabwa and the citizens, and the state of lawlessness in the governorate.

The Chairman of the National Assembly praised the tireless efforts made by the local leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in Shabwa with the honorable people of the province in standing up and confronting all kinds of arrogance of the Brotherhood militias

Major General Bin Brik stressed that the issue of Shabwa Governorate is one of the main issues before the work of the leadership of the Southern Transitional Council, and that the President of the Southern Transitional Council, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, President Aidarous Qasim Al-Zubaidi, pays great attention to the governorate, and he strives to get it out of the situation imposed on it by the Brotherhood’s forces and militias.

The Chairman of the National Assembly stressed the need to unify the ranks among all tribes and components of society in Shabwa Governorate, and to strengthen and consolidate the southern identity and the cause of the people of the south, and show steadfastness until the full accomplishment of the desired goals for which all the people of the south have struggled, to reach liberation and independence and to build the federal state of the South.

For his part, Ali Ahmed Hassan al-Jabwani stressed that the local leadership of the Council in the governorate relies on teamwork and is taking steady steps in line with the next stage, and will not be deterred from performing its national duty by the miserable attempts of the Brotherhood terrorist militias to suppress, abuse and arbitrary arrests, and won’t budge its faith in its cause and will continue to perform its duties in full.
