Al-Jaadi Honorably Bids Farewell to Office Head of the UN Envoy in Aden the capital

Mr. Fadhl Mohammed Al-Jaadi, member of the Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), and Deputy Secretary-General of the STC, on Wednesday honorably bade farewell to Mr. Peter Rice on the completion of his tenure as Office Head of the United Nations (UN) Special Envoy in the capital, Aden.
Al-Jaadi affirmed that this honor comes in appreciation of the efforts made by the director of the office of the UN envoy in Aden in delivering the message of the STC to the UN, crystallized by the right of the people of the South to restore their state.
Al-Gaadi pointed out that the UN conventionally adopts the demands of peoples to have their rights, since the human rights laws that have been defined by international conventions, particularly the United Nations charters, give them the right to self-determination.
For his part, Mr. Peter Rice expressed his thanks and gratitude to the leadership of the STC, represented by the Deputy Secretary-General for this honor, praising the role of the STC in facilitating the work of the Office Head of the UN Special Envoy in the capital, Aden, throughout his tenure as Office Head.
