5 members of the Iranian-backed Houthi militia were killed and a number of others were injured in a pre-emptive qualitative operation carried out by the infantry unit of the Southern Armed Forces stationed in the Battar Front late last night.

After that, fierce confrontations broke out between the southern armed forces units of the Al-Ashawi and Shahid al-Shobaji brigades and units from the Sixth Sa`qa Brigade, in which a large-scale attack by the Houthi militia towards the Battar al-Shamriya front on the northeastern border of the al-Hasha district was broken.
These developments came after a calm that prevailed across the various fronts of the Al- Dhalea axis throughout the past week, during which the armor unit of the Southern Armed Forces and the joint forces intercepted the locations and movements of the Houthi militias from time to time on more than one front.
