A Commander of the First Brigade (Backup and Support) Martyred in an Explosion at Modia – Abian

Iad Ben Sohail Al-Yafeay, a commander at the first brigade (backup and support) martyred early this morning in Modia – Abian. Sources at the brigade’s commandership indicated that soldier found and explosive package at Modia Market and the package exploded while trying to dismantle it leading to the sad accident. Iad Al-Yafeay is a close assistant of Brigadier Muneer Al-Yafeay, commander of the brigade. It is noteworthy that the first brigade initiated wide deployment in the directorates of Abian with the Security Belt Forces.
