A committee from Security Belt inspects conditions of detainees in Al-Dhalea prisons

A committee from the leadership of the Security Belt Forces inspected the central prisons and places of detention in Al-Dhalea Governorate and Yafa’ districts, under direct instructions from the Commander-in-Chief of the Forces, Brigadier General Mohsen Al-Wali.
During its reception from the Director of the Prisons Administration, Brigadier General Abdul Hakim Al-Nasri, the Committee was informed about the conditions of inmates and the conditions in prisons and places of detention.
The Committee urged those in charge of the central prisons, which are under the protection of the Security Belt Forces, to quickly send the files of the defendants whose legal procedures have been completed to the competent authorities.
The Committee stressed the importance of adhering to legal and humanitarian standards in dealing with inmates, and ensuring their rights at all stages of detention and trial.
