A decision to transfer airline revenues to their accounts in the capital, Aden

SMA NEWS – ADEN THE CAPITAL
The Minister of Transport, Dr. Abdul Salam Humaid, directed the airline to transfer the company’s revenues to its bank accounts in the capital, Aden, or to its bank accounts abroad, starting this June.
The decision came to distance the company’s revenues from the control of the Iran-backed Houthi militias, and to enable the company to spend on operations and develop and modernize its fleet, especially after the robbery of $100 million in its balances in Sana’a banks.
The news decision drew attention to the decisions of the Central Bank in the capital, Aden, which stopped dealings with commercial banks due to their failure to transfer their centers to Aden the capital, which the company’s agents deal with in the governorates under the control of the terrorist Houthi militias.
The decision assigned the airline’s leadership to transfer the rest of its departments in Sana’a to the company’s main center in the capital, Aden.
