A joint meeting of Lamlas with Haidan in the capital, Aden

The Minister of State, Governor of the capital, Aden, Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, on Tuesday, met in his office at the governorate’s general office with the Minister of Interior, Major General Ibrahim Haidan.
At the beginning of the meeting, which was attended by Governorate Undersecretary Rashad Shayea and Land Protection Unit Official in Aden Kamal Al-Halmi, Governor Lamlas welcomed the Minister of Interior and Undersecretary of the Civil Services Sector at the Ministry of Interior Abdul Majid Al-Amiri, and discussed with them a number of issues of common concern, most notably ways to confront the problems of illegal immigration, its repercussions on the local community, and the inevitability of initiating actual treatments in coordination with the relevant authorities.
The meeting discussed the progress of work in electronic cards, the Immigration and Passports Authority, and the ongoing plans to expand the scope of work, reduce congestion, and facilitate procedures for citizens, in accordance with the directives of the Prime Minister.
The meeting reviewed a number of solutions to strengthen the security process and facilitate procedures at Aden International Airport, a number of sites in the capital, and ways of cooperation between the local authority and the Ministry of Interior to enhance the completion and success of the work.
