A Leader in the Southern Transitional Council: Military Commanders of the Government Smuggle Weapons to “Ansar Allah”

[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Sputnik – Adan [/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″] Mansour Saleh, a leader of the southern transitional council said: “The problem in Yemen is not smuggling weapons from Iran to Al-Houthis in the north. Instead, military commander of Ben Daghar’s government do so”. In a phone call with Sputnik, Russian media agency, om Monday March 5th, 2018, Saleh said: “The main problem is neither in the international society nor in Al-Houthis. It is proved that military commanders loyal to the legitimacy government smuggle weapons to Al-Houthis. The militias penetrated the government and the military institution severely”. Saleh added: “Many military commanders loyal to the government work for the militias and they smuggle weapons to them, especially from Al-Mehra and Shabwa, territories under direct supervision of military commanders loyal to the government”. Saleh also indicated that Yemeni vice president plays a major role in smuggling weapons, in addition to generating some political entities in the south. This is not new for them as these are the same policies of Ali Abdullah Saleh who was rushing to create new political entities in case political powers of the south form a unified political entity. Some persons were bought to speak for those entities. This cloning methods of political entities in the south is very old and its always done with persons who have no relation to the south at all.
