A New Corruption Scandal for Yemeni Government

Sources indicated that minister of oil signed an agreement with a construction company to construct an oil pipe. But instead of the oil pipe, the company constructed a water pipe for 54 million US dollars.
Sources also indicated that the pipe was to link sector 5 to sector 4 in Shabwa, under direct supervision of the minister of oil. Local committees inspected the project site and found out that the pipe looked like a water pipe. After revising all establishments and accurate inspection, it turned out that the ministry was involved in a corruption scandal with 54 million US dollars.
