A Security Belt Post Exhausts a New Smuggling Operation for Ammunition into Aden
In a new qualitative operation, Al-Manassa post of the Security Belt at the western exit of Aden exhausted a smuggling operation of ammunition in Hilux van heading to Aden. Preliminary interrogations indicated that “A. S. Al-Hobani”, the van driver, was trying to smuggle ammunition into Aden to sell it to gangsters and weapon dealers. Soldiers of the post accurately inspected the van as they suspected that the car was heavy while it looked empty and this led them to a secret hiding at the back trunk of the van. Soldiers found 50 refills of various ammunitions hidden carefully as seen in the photos. The operation proved high professionality of troops after being trained on such operations. This is the third operation to be exhausted in less than a week as the same post exhausted two other smuggling operations including weapons, ammunition, rockets, motor bikes, expired medications and other prohibited materials. Commandership of the Security Belt in Aden thanked soldiers of the post and appreciated their efforts under commandership of Hussain Kattan, commander of the sixth axis.
