A Security Campaign Against Al-Qaeda in Modia

[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Abian – Exclusive [/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″][su_dropcap]T[/su_dropcap]he Security Belt Troops and backup and support brigades launched a security campaign against Al-Qaeda terrorists in Wadi Omiran – Modia on Tuesday January 15th, 2019. A military source of backup and support brigades indicated that the security belt troops, under commandership of brigadier Muneer Al-Yafai (Abu Yamama) commander of the first brigade backup and support, and Abd Al-Lateef Al-Sayed, commander of Abian Security Belt troops, launched a qualitative attack on Wadi Omiran – Modia to liberate it from Al-Qaeda elements stationed there. The source indicated that the troops defeated Al-Qaeda terrorists in many parts of the valley while lashes are continuing till now with the advance of the security belt troops and escape of Al-Qaeda elements.
The attack led to six injuries among heroes of the security belt and SMA News is publishing their names and injuries:

3. Esam Radwan
4. Al-Khadr Ali Al-Khadr Taleb – injury in the back
5. Omar Mohamed Abdu – injury in the face
6. Sabri Al-Hamedi – injury in the hand
