A team from the STC’s Council of Advisors meets with the Director of the Education Office in the capital, Aden

A team from the Advisory Committee for Administrative and Financial Reform Affairs of the Council of Advisors of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), headed by the head of the Education System Team, Dr. Sabah Ahmed Sharaf, met on Tuesday, with the Director of the Education Office in the capital, Aden, Dr. Nawal Jawad.
During the meeting, which was attended by the head of the Advisory Committee, Abdullah Salem Yousef Bafaqir, Dr. Jawad reviewed the most prominent challenges facing educational institutions in the capital, Aden, from weak school infrastructure to a shortage of teaching staff and declining institutional performance. She emphasized the need for urgent intervention to rehabilitate buildings and improve the overall educational environment.
The Council of Advisors team affirmed its readiness to provide realistic solutions, proposals, and development consultations, including the construction and rehabilitation of schools and human capacity development, in line with the requirements of the current phase. They emphasized the need to develop a long-term strategic vision to save the educational process, noting that concerted efforts with relevant authorities are the only way to advance the education sector.
