A UNICEF Delegation Checks On The Needs Of Bir Ahmed Water Field In Aden The Capital

A delegation from the UNICEF organization headed by the resident representative of the organization in Yemen, Peter Hawkins, checked on the need to operate Bir Ahmed water field with alternative energy to ensure the continuation of the production and pumping of water for the districts of Aden the capital.
This came during the visit of the UNICEF delegation, in which the Director General of the Local Water and Sanitation Corporation in Aden the capital, Eng. Mohamed Bakhbira, where he briefed them on the field of operating the field and its most prominent needs.
The UNICEF delegation listened from Bakhbira to a detailed explanation about the level of the project to supply the submersible pumps in Bir Ahmed Water Fall, which is funded by the UNICEF.
Eng. Bakhbira emphasized that the Water Corporation desperately needs more support and interventions by the regional and international supporters and partners to ensure the continued production of water and the supplies of Aden districts, praising the continuous UNICEF interventions in the water sector in Aden the capital.
