The attack was according to intel information confirming the existence of Al-Qaeda terrorists in a residential block in Houra. Eye-witnesses indicated that the unit, after attacking their hiding place in a residential block belonging to a trader called Al-Kahoum, sent the arrested terrorists to an unknown place. The fate of the block owner is unconfirmed as he was arrested with the terrorists while some sources indicate that he has no relation with terrorists and they only rented the block from him.
