#Abyan .. mass rally calling for the release of the captive Major General “Faisal Rajab”
Large crowd of citizens of the governorate of Abyan from districts of “Khanfar and Zanzibar”, with social and political personalities and representatives of civil society organizations, and relatives of the captive Major General “Faisal Rajab”, attended on Sunday a mass rally held in the capital of Abyan governorate calling for the release of Major General “Faisal Rajab,” the prisoner in Houthi militia prisons.
The demonstrators marched in Zanzibar, the capital of Abyan governorate, holding up pictures of Major General Faisal Rajab, chanting his name, and raising banners with slogans call for his release.
Relatives of Major General Faisal Ragab, social figures and citizens of Abyan governorate spoke about the heroic roles played by Major General Faisal Rajab, and his stances towards and in defense of Abyan in particular and the country in general.
They said that this rally to show gratitude to Major General “Faisal Rajab”, who we hope that he will be released as soon as possible, and that he will return to his family and loved people safe.
