Acting President of Transitional Council discusses efforts of Security Belt in Al-Anad in maintaining stability

The Acting President of the Transitional Council, Head of the Negotiations Affairs Unit, Dr. Nasser Al-Khobaji, met on Thursday, with the Commander of the Security Belt at Al-Anad Base, Brigadier General Samir Yousef Al-Masoudi.
The meeting, which was attended by Eng. Adnan Al-Kaf, Acting Secretary-General, and Abdul Rahman Sheikh, member of the Council’s Presidency, reviewed field developments at Al-Anad Air Base and the security situation there.
Al-Khobaji praised the role of the security belt at Al-Anad base and their task of following up the saboteurs and resolving many cases.
The meeting stressed the importance of imposing security and stability, and combating scenes that disturb the tranquility of citizens, foremost of which is shooting bullets at weddings and events, controlling the perpetrators and taking deterrent measures against them, so that the citizens live in peace.
In turn, the commander of the security belt at Al-Anad base affirmed that, within a short period, the belt was able to control the smuggling of petroleum products in all its forms, and its forces were able to arrest arms shipments and arrest many drug traffickers and users.
Al-Masoudi stressed that the Security Belt Command in Al-Anad and its environs will continue to carry out its security tasks assigned to it by the leadership of the Southern Transitional Council, in addition to the additional tasks it carries out to preserve the southern national gains.
