Adan Security Chief Meets Peter Sminby, Swedish Ambassador to Yemen

[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Adan – Exclusive[/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″] General Shallal Ali Shaia, chief of Adan Security Department met the Swedish ambassador to Yemen, Mr. Peter Sminby. After welcoming the Swedish ambassador, Shaia discussed with him in details the efforts of Adan security forces, supported by the Arab Coalition and UAE, in securing the city and its districts in addition to the active role of security belt forces in fighting terrorists in southern governorates asserting that this represents the active partnership with the international society in anti-terrorism war. Shaia indicated that the type of targets of recent terrorist acts in Adan confirm that. He also asserted that security forces of Adan have the capabilities to protect embassies and residential buildings of diplomatic delegations hoping that foreign countries may contribute in restoring security through reopening their embassies in Adan in addition to headquarters of international organizations as this will deliver a clear message for those terrorists that the free world stands against terrorism. The Swedish ambassador expressed his happiness for visiting Adan indicating that his visit aims to express his country’s support for peace and security in Yemen.
