Aden Deputy Governor Chairs Meeting to Discuss Improvement of Service Conditions in Seera District

A meeting was held at Seera District, chaired by the Deputy Governor of Aden Governorate and Secretary-General of the Local Council, Badr Mu’awin Saeed. The meeting included the Director-General of the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund in the capital, Aden, Engineer Qaed Rashid An’am; the Director-General of the Public Works Office, Engineer Walid Al-Sarari; the Director-General of Seera District, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Jaradi; the Director-General of the Antiquities Office, Mohammed Al-Saqqaf; and the directors of service offices and members of community committees.
During the meeting, the Deputy Governor affirmed the governorate’s leadership’s commitment to providing all necessary support to improve services in the Seera District, given its symbolic significance as the cultural and civic face of the capital, Aden. The Seera District’s rich archaeological and historical landmarks and rich cultural heritage make it worthy of inclusion on the list of historic cities. In this regard, he praised the local authority’s efforts to enhance the performance of service facilities and highlight the Seera District’s cultural image, both locally and through its participation in external events.
The meeting discussed the service situation in the Seera District and coordination between various service agencies. The meeting also discussed the efforts made by the authority and the preparations and preparations for the inclusion of Crater on the list of historic cities.
The meeting approved several measures aimed at preserving historical and cultural landmarks and putting an end to the encroachment and random expansion. The meeting also discussed the status of projects implemented by the Public Works Project and the difficulties that hinder the implementation of some projects. The Deputy Governor stressed the need to address all necessary problems to ensure the success of the projects approved for the city of Aden.
