Aden Governor Decides to Pay Two Months’ Salary to Education Contractors

Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, Governor of the capital Aden, decided on Tuesday, to pay two months’ salary to education contractors in the capital, this came during his meeting with the Director of the Education Office in Aden, Dr. Nawal Jawad.

Lamlas stressed, in the presence of the heads of departments and directors of the education offices in the districts, the continuation of the local authority’s efforts with the government to resolve teachers’ issues and settle their situations in accordance with the system and law.

The meeting discussed the challenges facing the education sector, most notably the shortage of teaching staff, the delay in disbursing salaries, the weakness of school infrastructure, and ways to correct the course of the educational process in the capital Aden.

The meeting recommended continuing efforts to resolve all teachers’ issues, developing the educational process, and coordinating between the Education Office and local authorities in the directorates to organize work and adhere to the system and law.
