Aden Security Director Discusses Security Developments, Praises Units’ Efforts During Ramadan and Eid

Aden Security Director Major General Mutahhar Al-Shuaibi chaired a regular meeting on Monday with criminal investigation leaders, district chiefs, and police station directors to assess security performance in the capital.
The meeting discussed security performance reports for the past three months (January, February, March), with a detailed presentation of statistics on registered reports, both those seized and those not seized, the number of cases referred to the Public Prosecution, the number of suspects and fugitives, and the progress of investigations into unknown cases at police stations.
During the meeting, Major General Al-Shuaibi emphasized the need to strengthen security efforts to contribute to raising the efficiency of security agencies and accelerating response to reports. He called for intensified efforts to overcome security challenges and achieve stability.
He also stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation and coordination between police and criminal investigation units, with the aim of facilitating security measures and combating all forms of crime, particularly terrorist activities and outlaws. He noted the tangible security improvement in the capital recently.
The Capital Security Director praised the efforts made by security units to protect citizens during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr, calling for increased vigilance and efforts to maintain security and stability in all Aden districts.
The meeting concluded with several recommendations, most notably: strengthening efforts to uncover unknown cases, pursuing fugitives from justice, continuing to seize unregistered cars and motorcycles, improving security performance at police stations, and monitoring the military discipline of security personnel.
