Aden security resolves clashes between African immigrants and calls for solutions to immigrants issue

The Security Administration in Aden the Capital expressed its regret for the unfortunate events witnessed in a number of districts, on Thursday and Friday, during the fights that were held between groups of illegal immigrants from the Horn of Africa, stressing that it had an escalating trend to turn into riots that left severe damage to private and public property.
Aden security confirmed its intervention to resolve the clashes out of the responsibility placed on it, to preserve the lives and public tranquility of citizens, in accordance with legal rules and procedures, calling for a radical solution to the problem of illegal immigrants.
The Security Administration alerted the appeals of the local authority and the Capital Security Department on more than one occasion to all concerned parties in this regard, without any response, expressing at the same time its keenness to provide all facilities to reach a real solution to the problem of illegal immigration.
It also renewed its appeal to the international community, the International Organization for Migration, and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees to intervene after the phenomenon turned into a threat to the security and stability of the city.
