Aden the capital celebrates the 15th anniversary of Southern tolerance and reconciliation

The capital Aden, witnessed on Wednesday, a ceremony celebrating the 15th anniversary of tolerance and reconciliation, organized by Gulf of Aden Foundation for Development and Social Services under the patronage of President Aidaroos Qassem Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Southern Transitional Council, and in the presence of Mr. Fadl Mohammad Al-Jaadi, the Deputy Secretary-General of the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council.
The event was also attended by members of the Presidency of the Transitional Council, Mr. Lotfi Shatara, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, Dr. Suhair Ali Ahmed, Brigadier Nasser Al Saadi, and Eng. Nazar Haitham, Head of the Executive Authority for the Transitional Council in the Capital Aden.
Mr. Fadl Al Jaadi delivered a speech at the event in which he conveyed the greetings of President Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, for all of the attendees, stressing that the memory of reconciliation and tolerance confirmed closing the page of the past, and embodied the southern national consensus in word and deed, and that the south is higher and prior than individuals and components.
Al-Jaadi added, “We must all evoke the spirit of reconciliation and tolerance with more solidarity, and give priority to the values of the national struggle to triumph over the plots and intrigues of our southern enemies, such as the merchants of war, religious gangs, tribes and terrorism.” Stressing that the existing challenges necessitate that we take into account the interest of our people regardless of anything else.
Al-Jaadi pointed out that those trying to play on January 13th other than the Day of Reconciliation and Tolerance, “they are only tearing tools to pass projects that our people have rejected and are still struggling to win over them.” As southerners expressed in a great epic the meanings of reconciliation and tolerance in the best way.
Al-Jaadi concluded his speech by stressing that the noble values and the lofty goals of reconciliation and tolerance represented an important stage in the paths of the South’s struggle towards freedom and the establishment of a historical stage in the life of our people, calling for the dedication of the value of reconciliation and tolerance as a culture for new generations to reach the realization of ambition in a country that believes in the concepts of democracy, dialogue and the values of peace.
The ceremony was inaugurated with the southern national anthem, then standing for a minute of silence and reciting al-Fatiha for the souls of the martyrs, followed by a speech by Dr. Mahmoud Shaif, head of the Gulf of Aden Foundation, the organizer of the ceremony, and then a speech was presented to the Radfan Association presented by Saleh Haytham Faraj, then Saleh Dharman also delivered a speech on behalf of Sons of Al Awadhil society.
It’s worth mentioning that after the end of the speech ceremony, it was followed by a discussion workshop on this occasion.
