Aden the capital faces complete darkness as fuel of power stations runs out

The spokesman for Aden Capital Electricity Corporation, Nawar Abkar,said that tomorrow morning, the PetroMasila station will stop working completely due to the exhaustion of crude oil fuel, revealing that the total current generation capacity is 140 megawatts.
He revealed in statements today, Sunday, that the extinguishing hours reached seven hours, which can be increased, in exchange for two operating hours, warning that if no fuel is provided, the capital, Aden, will be in complete darkness as all generating stations will be extinguished.
Abkar warned that diesel was not pumped from the ship and the process was postponed until the financial procedures were resolved between the concerned authorities and the merchant, stressing that the diesel shipment was at sea and would reach Mukalla within two to three days.
