After Failure to Resolve Teachers’ Strike, Education Halted in Aden the capital

SMA NEWS – ADEN THE CAPITAL
Education for students in Aden has been suspended since the beginning of the second semester due to the teachers’ strike. This threatens an educational and social catastrophe, especially for high school students in the governorate, who have been unable to complete even half of their coursework.
Students in Aden confirm that the strike has impacted their studies and educational requirements, especially with the approaching general exams, while they have only learned less than half of the curriculum.
They call on the responsible authorities in Aden, represented by the governor, Ahmed Lamlas, the deputy governor of Aden for the education sector, Awad Mubjar, and the director-general of the education office in the governorate, Dr. Nawal Jawad, to resolve their crisis.
They point out that the exams are approaching, and they hope to be able to catch up with their colleagues in other governorates and take the exams on the same date.
