After the Assassination of Saleh, Al-Houthi Tries to Control Power Sources of the Ousted
[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Al-Arabia Al-Yemenia – Sanaa[/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″][su_label type=”info”]Amman – SMA – PIC[/su_label][/su_spacer] Al-Houthi militias are now trying to control power sources of the ousted Saleh, including the Parliament in Sanaa, to gain a new political cover that provides their forceful size of power with some type of forma legitimacy. Saleh Al-Sammad, chairman of the so-called “The Supreme Political Council”, met chairman of the parliament, Yahia Al-Raai and his vice chairman, Abd Al-Salam Hashoul. During the meeting they discussed the activation of the legislative role of the parliament and its permanent committees, in addition to the parliament’s role in monitoring the executive and judicial authorities and supporting local authorities in every directorate and governorate. The meeting also discussed other issues concerning supporting communication and coordination of the parliamentary performance in addition to external political representation to break the international isolation on Yemen. They also discussed peace making according to a patriotic vision and with an independent Yemeni will in addition to the parliament’s role on the official and public levels. According to Saba News, Al-Sammad urged members of the parliament to participate in social, political and official events to face what he called “aggression”.
