Agreement on third phase of the restoration project for historic houses in Seera District of Aden the capital

Contracts for the third phase of the restoration project for historic and historic houses in Seera District were signed at Seera District building in the capital, Aden. The project is funded by the European Union and implemented by UNESCO in partnership with the Aden, Lahj, Abyan, and Dhale’e Public Works Project.
Contracts for the restoration of 29 houses were signed in the presence of representatives of the Historic Cities Authority; UNESCO Coordinator in Aden, the Public Works Office in the Governorates of Aden, Abyan, Lahj, and Dhale’e; and a number of citizens benefiting from the that aims to preserve historic buildings and prevent any new construction.
This project is the third phase, preceded by two phases in the Seera District, with the goal of reaching 100 restored historic houses.
