Al-Bahsani discusses with Al-Kathiri latest developments in the political, economic and service situations

The Vice President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Major General Faraj Salmeen Al-Bahsani, met in the city of Mukalla, the Chairman of the National Assembly of STC, Mr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kathiri.

During the meeting, congratulations and greetings were exchanged on the occasion of the advent of the holy month of Ramadan, in which latest developments in the political, economic and service situations in various governorates were also discussed, and the possibility of improving the situation was discussed, in a way that alleviates the suffering of citizens and ensures that they live with dignity.

Al-Bahsani was briefed by Al-Kathiri on a brief explanation of the association’s activities and its administrative body, and the general plan for the current year, which contributes to raising the efficiency of performance and developing work mechanisms, according to methodological foundations that contribute to strengthening the oversight and legislative role of the association.

Major General Al-Bahsani listened from Al-Kathiri about the efforts made by the Assembly in the services file, the last of which was the meeting of the Assembly’s administrative body at the end of last February, to address the deterioration of service, economic and living conditions, most notably the long and repeated power outages for citizens in the capital Aden and the rest of the governorates, and the solutions resulting from the meeting that contributed to improving services.

Al-Bahsani praised the efforts made by the National Assembly and its administrative body in following up on service and living files that touch on the needs of citizens, praising what was presented during the last meeting of the administrative body, stressing that these efforts reflect the Assembly’s keenness to perform its role in a way that contributes to alleviating the suffering of citizens and achieving their aspirations for a decent life.
