Al-Bahsani Lays a Wreath at Tomb of the Unknown Soldier

Major General Faraj Salmeen Al-Bahsani, Vice President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier on the Memorial Ceremony at Martyrs Square of Hadramaut in the city of Almukalla, as part of the commemoration marking the eighth anniversary of the liberation of the Coast of Hadramaut from the elements of the terrorist organization AQAP.

Following the wreath-laying ceremony, which was accompanied by the Secretary-General of the Hadramaut Local Authority Saleh Al-Amqi, the Undersecretaries of Hadramaut Governorate, the Commander of the Second Military Division Major General Talib Baragash, and the Director General of Security and Police in the Coast Brigadier General Mote’a Al-Manhali, Surah Al-Fatiha was recited for the souls of the martyrs of the Hadrami Eite Force (HEF), who ultimately sacrificed their precious lives for the sake of liberation from the grip of terrorist organizations, restoring security and stability, and spreading peace in the governorate, and praying to Allah the Almighty to make their abode in paradise with the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, the righteous. And excellent are those as companions!

Major General Al-Bahsani stressed the importance and greatness of April 24 in the history of Hadramaut and the homeland, as it was on this glorious day that the elements of AQAP, which posed a danger and threat to the coastal areas and their people, were completely eradicated. Moreover, Al-Bahsani praised the efforts of the Arab Coalition led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which launched the Decisive Storm to confront the forces and terrorist militias, and the support and participation of the United Arab Emirates in the liberation battle, expressing his thanks and appreciation to the brotherly and friendly countries that supported the PLC and the legitimate government in the fight against terrorism and extremism.
