Al-Bahsani Praises Efforts of Ministry of Foreign Affairs Leadership to Strengthen Diplomatic Presence

Major General Faraj Al-Bahsani, member of the Presidential Leadership Council, praised the efforts of the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Affairs in strengthening Yemen’s diplomatic presence at the regional and international levels.
During his meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Affairs Dr. Shaye’ Al-Zindani, Al-Bahsani praised the positive steps taken by the Ministry, the most recent of which was the opening of a representative office for the Embassy of the Republic of India in the interim capital, Aden. He noted that the opening of the Indian office in Aden confirms the depth of historical relations between the two countries and the two sides’ keenness to develop them to serve the common interests of the two friendly peoples.
Major General Al-Bahsani listened to a brief explanation from Minister Al-Zindani about the progress of work in the Ministry’s office and our embassies in brotherly and friendly countries, the most prominent successes achieved in the diplomatic field during the recent period, and the most important difficulties and challenges facing the Ministry in carrying out its duties.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs addressed the Ministry’s leadership’s efforts to advance diplomatic work and establish missions and embassies in the interim capital, Aden, thus strengthening the presence of the state and its sovereign institutions. He noted his participation in the special session to enhance Red Sea security, as part of the Munich Security Conference leaders’ meeting held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He emphasized our country’s commitment to actively contributing to regional and international efforts aimed at securing international navigation and enhancing stability in the Red Sea.
Major General Al-Bahsani urged the Ministry of Foreign Affairs leadership to continue its diplomatic activity and strengthen our country’s relations with sisterly and friendly countries, serving our country’s supreme interests and enhancing its external presence and regional and international role.
Al-Bahsani, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council, emphasized that the 62nd National Day of the glorious October 14 Revolution is an immortal national milestone in the history of the struggle against colonialism and a testament to adherence to the values of freedom and independence.
