Al-Bahsani: Sidra line enhances trade with Türkiye

Major General Faraj Salmin Al-Bahsani, Vice President of the Southern Transitional Council, member of the Presidential Leadership Council, via video call on Sunday, discussed with Ambassador Mustafa Polat, Turkey’s ambassador to our country, the strengthening of bilateral relations.
Al-Bahsani expressed the Leadership Council’s support for all peace initiatives, to bring about a just, comprehensive and sustainable peace, and the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the auspices of the United Nations, to end the conflict, noting the intransigence of the terrorist Houthi militia.
He called for international pressure to be placed on the Iran-backed Houthi militias, and to take decisive measures against their hostile and terrorist actions and their threat to national, regional and global peace, to push them to respond to peace initiatives.
Al-Bahsani said that receiving the container terminal in the port of Aden, the first direct flights of the Turkish shipping line “Sidra”, is an important step that stimulates the national economy, contributes to enhancing trade and economy, and opens opportunities for commercial exchange.
