Al-Dhale’e axis reviews Red Cross interventions for next year

Brigadier General Hassan Laraj, Deputy Head of Joint Operations for the Al-Dhale’e Combat Axis, welcomed on Saturday, in his office, the Director of Operations at the International Committee of the Red Cross, Yasmine Praz Dessimoz.
The meeting discussed the efforts of the Red Cross in the governorate, its interventions during the coming year 2025, and ways to enhance humanitarian aspects and alleviate the suffering of citizens.
Brigadier General Laraj said that Al-Dhale’e is facing exceptional circumstances in light of a fierce war on its borders with the Iranian-backed Houthi militia, adding that the governorate needs to provide more support and improve living, service and health conditions.
In turn, the Director of Operations at the International Committee of the Red Cross expressed the importance of doubling the efforts of the committee’s mission to provide the necessary support to Al-Dhale’e Governorate, stressing the keenness to develop humanitarian and health aspects.
She also appreciated the efforts of the Joint Operations Command of the Dhale’e Combat Axis, for its support and standing with the organization’s team in making its humanitarian projects a success.
