Al-Essi continues his pressure on the southern resistance to unload his shipments of oil derivatives
The famous oil trader Ahmed Al-Essi, and the monopolist of this trade, continued his pressures on the southern resistance with the aim of pumping his ship loaded with oil derivatives to Aden refineries after the southern resistance closed it with the aim of breaking the monopoly and allowing fair chances to other competing traders.
The company Vampa, of the southern dealer, “Al-Hamami” had announced affording 3,400 metric tons of diesel, which had unloaded into the tanks of Aden Refineries Company, for Aden Electricity, as an advance to cover the deficit of fuel that threatened with complete electricity cut off during the coming hours in Aden the capital, but Al-Essi, who controls the oil, refused to pump the unloaded quantities in order to put pressure on the southern resistance to discharge his charges instead.
Special sources confirmed that Najib Hamid Al-Odaini, one of the members of the International Brotherhood, who is close to Al-Essi, and Khaled Auman, has continued to exert his efforts to pass Al- Essi’s shipments.
An electricity official held the monopolist Al-Essi responsible for electricity cutting off, as the electricity will not be able to operate within the coming hours.
The Yemeni Prime Minister, Dr. Moein Abdul Malik, had directed to break the monopoly of importing oil derivatives, opening the way for merchants to compete and provide derivatives at reasonable prices to citizens and electricity.
