In turn, Al-Gaadi expressed his thanks for the invitation to discuss with southern elites indicating that the council is interested in such discussions as the council believes that elite groups play an influential role in national work through correcting paths and creating public awareness.
In his speech, Al-Gaadi explained the council’s general trends and its reading to the internal situation and path of political process indicating that the council is following several paths to resolve any southern differences and conflicts in pursuit for unifying the southern line.
Talking about the developments of the current internal situation, Al-Gaadi asserted that all parties should resume their responsibilities and patriotic sense to prevent the country from slipping into an unknown path created by the current authority and its acts disrupting security and stability and driving towards chaos. He also indicated that the authority tried repeatedly to confuse the people to let go their demands of ratifying the situation created by this failure and corrupt authority.
Al-Gaadi added that the council with all its members and supporters all over the south will be ready to face any tries to disturb the security and stability achieved by the southern people through sacrificing thousands of martyrs. He asserted that the council will always be the security valve, protector of citizens and guardian of the southern people’s expectations entrusted to the council in public delegation as a representative of the southern free will till restoration of the southern state.
Attendants imposed their questions and notes in addition to suggesting several issues to urge the council to approach citizens’ problems more closely. Some suggestions asserted the importance of activating media platforms to face the media war launched by enemy powers and political parties. Other suggestions demanded the council to be more accurate in choosing qualified persons according to their specialties.
Attendants expressed their happiness of the meetings hoping that it won’t be the last as they are looking for more future meetings and discussions.
