The Chairman of the Consultation and Reconciliation Commission, Mr. Mohammed Al-Ghaithi, commended the UAE’s role in resolving the crisis file in our country, and its support for our people in various fields.
In his meeting in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, Mohammed Hamad Al-Zaabi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Yemen, stressing the importance of the UAE’s humanitarian and developmental role, and the fraternal and pan-Arab stances within the framework of the Arab coalition in confronting the Iran-backed Houthi militia and terrorist organizations.
The meeting reviewed the tasks and role of the Consultation and Reconciliation Commission and its efforts to bring the legitimate forces and components closer together, support the Presidential Leadership Council, and the importance of continuing the role entrusted to the Commission, to find understandings between all forces, in order to achieve lasting peace and stability.
The two sides discussed developments in the political and economic situation, calling for redoubling efforts to support the Presidential Leadership Council, support the local economy, and raise the capabilities of the forces on the fronts to deter the Houthi escalation.
For his part, Ambassador Al Zaabi expressed the UAE’s support for the Presidential Leadership Council and its efforts to create real stability and peace, and the national consensus resulting from the announcement of the transfer of power.
