Al-Ghaithi meets a delegation of European ambassadors

The head of the Consultation Committee, Head of the General Directorate of Foreign Affairs in the Southern Transitional Council, Mr. Mohammed Al-Ghaithi, received a high-level delegation consisting of the ambassador of the European Union, the ambassadors of France, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Sweden and Norway, in addition to the special envoy of the Kingdom of Sweden to Yemen.
The meeting, which took place in the capital, Aden, touched on the latest developments in the political situation in Yemen and the South, and ways to reach consensus between the parties in light of the intransigence of the Iranian-backed Houthi militia.
Al-Ghaithi expressed the importance of continuing the consensus stipulated in the presidential declaration, and the ongoing understanding between the political and social forces and components.
He stressed that consensus does not nullify the national aspirations of the people of the south and their political rights, at the forefront of which is solving the issue of the south through a comprehensive and just peace process.
