The Chairman of the Consultation and Reconciliation Commission, Mohammed Al-Ghaithi, met with Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China, Shao Cheng.
the meeting discussed the political process and the economic developments in our country.
In a statement on Tuesday, Al-Ghaithi revealed that efforts and opportunities for peace were discussed in light of the efforts made by the People’s Republic of China in the region, stressing the need for international actors to play their role in resolving the crisis.
For his part, the Chinese ambassador praised the efforts of the Consultation and Reconciliation Commission, and renewed his country’s support for the Presidential Leadership Council and peace efforts through a comprehensive political process.
