Al-Hajj meets with Representatives of Southern Community in USA

Dr. Saleh Mohsen Al-Hajj, Director of the General Directorate of Foreign Affairs (GDFA) of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and head of the Internal Southern National Dialogue Team (ISNDT), virtually met today, Saturday, with representatives of the southern community in the United States of America.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Al-Hajj conveyed to them the greetings of President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the STC and Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), expressing the STC’s thanks and appreciation for the role of the southern communities and their positive contributions in supporting the cause of the South and their highest interest in the recent turnarounds in the homeland.
Dr. Al-Hajj gave a satisfied explanation of the course of the Southern National Dialogue process, which followed by holding the Consultative Meeting and culminated in signing the Southern National Charter document, touching on the efforts exerted to develop the work of the STC’s bodies, including GDFA.
Relating to the path of the peace process, Al-Hajj spoke about the regional and international endeavours to end the war, explaining the tasks of the upcoming phase and the important role assumed by the STC in line with the support of the Arab coalition countries led by the official brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates and the international endeavours sponsored by the UN special envoy.
In turn, the representatives of the southern communities expressed their thanks to the political leadership of the South for the great efforts to unite the ranks, reach cohesiveness, and rapprochement to achieve triumph for the cause of the South and the restoration of the independent federal state of the South, as well as its interest in the southern communities in the countries of destination and communication with them.
