Al-Halimi meets with Ambassador of the Republic of France

The member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Mr. Murad Al-Halimi, met today, Monday, in the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi, the Ambassador of the Republic of France to Yemen, Jean-Marie Safa.
The meeting reviewed the latest political and economic developments, and discussed various files related to the Riyadh Agreement, especially with regard to the comprehensive political process, and the deteriorating humanitarian and health situation in the South.
Al-Halimi affirmed the Transitional Council’s position towards supporting the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement, praising the efforts made by the Arab coalition led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to implement the agreement.
Al-Halimi stressed the importance and necessity of involving the Southern Transitional Council in all phases of the comprehensive political process, specifically regarding the joint negotiating delegation as stipulated in the Riyadh Agreement for the success of international efforts to end the war and start a comprehensive dialogue in which the South participates through its representative, which is the Southern Transitional Council, stressing at the same time the importance of the role of the Republic of France in supporting the peace and development process in the South and Yemen.
