Saleh was shot and killed by Al-Houthi militias that Stopped his convoy while he was trying to reach Sanhan, his birth place, south of Sanaa. Local sources also indicated that Aref Al-Zouka, secretary general of the Public Conference Party was also killed. In addition, Ali Al-Humaidy, commander of Saleh’s personal guards was shot and killed. At the same time, Al-Houthi militias asserted that the residencies of Saleh’s two sons, Ahmed and Tarek, are now under control after heavy clashes.
