Al-Jaadi and Sooki of STC presidency attend press conference to announce human rights report of “Haq” organization

The Assistant Secretary-General of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Fadl Mohammad Al-Jaadi, and lawyer Niran Sooki, member of the Presidency of the Transitional Council, Vice-Chairman of the National Assembly, attended on Thursday, the press conference held by Haq Organization for Freedoms and Defending Rights to publicize its field human rights report prepared on the violations and crimes that was committed by Yemeni legitimate government forces against civilians in the city of Al-Dhalea during the period of December 2013 to January 2015.
The conference was held under the title: “Al-Dhali: Serious crimes under international law that do not drop by time”, in which Al-Khader Al-Maysari, President of Haq Organization for Defending Rights and Freedoms, delivered a speech in which he provided a comprehensive review of the content of the report, indicating that the organization has followed up and monitored the violations, and communicated with international organizations regarding them.
Also the researcher Mohammed Nasser al-Awlaki, presented an explanation on the transparency of this human rights report that was quoted in its information on reliable inferences which gives credence to the report of the organization and its principle of transparency.
Dr. Mahmoud Nasr, a human rights activist had also delivered a speech on human rights activities and uncovering violations, referring to the crimes and violations that have been committed against citizens in Aden specifically since the Houthis occupation, and clarifying the concept of human rights and the need to protect and preserve human’s dignity.
Pictures of the violations, crimes and victims were shown at the conference, and copies of the report were distributed in both Arabic and English and a video was shown that contained the most important information in the reports, with pictures of the victims, their names and video scenes of the crimes.
After that, discussion was opened to the attendees, and a number of questions and inquiries were submitted about the report and answered.
At the end of the conference, the participants came out with a press statement summarizing what was included in it.
