Al-Jaadi chairs first consultative meeting of Department of Thought and Guidance and its administration in governorates

The Deputy Secretary-General of the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Mr. Fadl Mohammad Al-Jaadi, on Tuesday, chaired a consultative meeting organized by the Department of Thought and Guidance in the General Secretariat with the administrations of Thought and Guidance in the executive bodies of the local leaderships of the Council in the governorates.

In the meeting, Al-Jaadi got briefed on the activities and plans of the administrations in the governorates, and he also listened from the directors of the administrations in the governorates about the difficulties they are facing, stressing in the context the importance of coordination and follow-up between the Department of Thought and Guidance in the General Secretariat with the administrations in the governorates to direct the activities as specified.

The meeting discussed the work mechanism of the Thought and Guidance Department, and the importance of unifying religious discourse and working to present a dialogue that reflects the truth of the true Islamic religion, as well as the importance of unifying religious discourse and activating the role of imams and preachers of mosques in delivering rationalizing messages to society, and providing everything possible to avoid society falling into extremism.

The meeting stressed the need to follow the values ​​and principles of the religion, which work to preserve the cohesion of different societal groups, enhance moral values, spread a culture of moderation among people, and warn against the dangers of religiously and morally deviant ideas.

The meeting also discussed a number of issues related to the functions of the Department of Thought, Guidance and the administrations in the governorates, foremost of which is working to instill the concept of national belonging and work for the homeland based on the assertion of the right of the people of the south and the justice of their cause.
