Al-Jaadi discusses with International Organization for Migration the migrant crisis in the South

Mr. Fadl Mohammad Al-Jaadi, Deputy Secretary-General of the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, met on Tuesday, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat in the capital, Aden, with Mr. Rainer Gonzalez, field coordinator of the International Organization for Migration, and his accompanying staff.
The meeting, which was attended by Eng. Nizar Haitham, the member of the Council’s presidency, and head of the executive body of the Council’s local leadership in Aden the capital, discussed aspects of cooperation between the Southern Transitional Council and the International Organization for Migration with regard to cases of illegal immigration and the African migrant crisis in the southern governorates in general, and in Aden the capital in particular.
In the meeting, Al-Jaadi affirmed that the Transitional Council is keen to support and facilitate the work of the organization’s office in Aden, and to establish close cooperation and continuous communication with all international humanitarian organizations to mitigate the effects of illegal immigration on the service situation in Aden the capital, and the whole South in general.
For his part, the Coordinator of the International Organization for Migration talked about the organization’s tasks in the field of migration, especially with regard to the deportation of migrants, expressing his happiness to meet the Deputy Secretary-General, and praising the cooperation shown by the Transitional Council with the organization, and its support to facilitate its work in the South and the capital, Aden.
