Al-Kaf meets the Executive Director of the Supreme Authority for Medicines and Health Supplies

Eng. Adnan Muhammad Omar al-Kaf, the member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Acting Secretary-General of the Presidency, Chairman of the Council’s Relief and Humanitarian Work Committee, met on Sunday, with Dr. Abdul Qadir Ahmed Al-Bakri, Executive Director of the Supreme Commission for Medicines and Medical Supplies at the Ministry of Health.
The meeting, which was attended by Eng. Jayab Atef, the member of the Transitional Council’s Committee to combat Corona Pandemic, discussed the mechanism of cooperation and coordination of efforts by following up and providing medicines and health supplies related to confronting the pandemic.
Al-Kaf listened from Dr. Al-Bakri to a brief explanation about the mechanism of work of the Medicines Authority, its strategic stockpile of medicines and medical supplies, and the amount of anti-virus vaccines (Covid-19) that recently arrived in the capital Aden and the methods of distributing them to the governorates.
Eng. Al-Kaf affirmed that the Transitional Council is ready to provide everything it can to help the Medicines Authority perform its work, and to overcome any difficulties and challenges encountered, and coordinate efforts with the Corona Pandemic Control Committee of the Transitional Council, in accordance with the joint action directions plan.
