Al-Kathiri and Al-Mohammadi perform Eid al-Fitr prayers with worshippers at Al-Shuhada Mosque in Mukalla

The Chairman of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council, Ali Abdullah Al-Kathiri, and the Head of the Executive Authority of the Southern Transitional Council Local Leadership in Hadhramaut Governorate, Brigadier General Saeed Ahmed Al-Mohammadi, performed Eid al-Fitr prayers on Sunday, at Al-Shuhada Mosque in Mukalla, along with several members of the Southern Transitional Council’s bodies in Hadhramaut Governorate.

The Imam of Eid prayers, Sheikh Youssef Ahmed Al-Mohammadi, called on worshippers to be patient and to appreciate blessings of Almighty Allah upon them, most notably the blessings of well-being and health. They also asked Allah to accept their good deeds and to be thankful for the completion of their Ramadan duties.

Sheikh Al-Mohammadi emphasized the need to support the people of Gaza in light of the suffering they are facing, urging worshippers to pray for their victory. He also addressed the suffering of the people of Hadhramaut due to weak electricity and health systems and the collapse of the local currency. He emphasized the need to address these problems, reminding officials of the responsibility they have incumbent upon them and that they will be held accountable for it on the Day of Judgment.

Following the prayer and the two sermons, the STC leaders exchanged congratulations with the worshippers.
