Al-Kathiri Attends 10th Batch Graduation of the SBFs, Known as ‘Abyan Martyrs Batch’

While Commemorating 53rd Anniversary of Founding the South Army

Mr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kathiri, Acting President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and chairman of the National Assembly, attended the graduation ceremony on Sunday for the 10th training batch and the administrative officers’ course of the Security Belt Forces (SBFs) in the capital, Aden. The event was held under the patronage of President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi and his deputy, Brigadier General Abu Zara’a Al-Muharrami.

Mr. Ali Al-Kathiri delivered a speech conveying greetings of President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi and commending the high level of performance displayed by the SBFs in the capital, Aden.

Mr. Al-Kathiri Highlighted the strategic importance of the Southern Security Services, of which the SBFs are a fundamental force.

Al-Kathiri emphasized the importance of enhancing security and stability in the capital, Aden, and across the governorates of the South, highlighting security as a fundamental pillar in building the sought-after federal state of the South.

Major General Qaid Atef, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Financial Resources Affairs, praised the capabilities and competencies of the SBFs in the capital, Aden, conveying the greetings of the Minister of Interior, Major General Ibrahim Haidan.

Mr. Badr Moawin, Secretary-General of the local authority, conveyed the greetings of the Governor of the capital, Aden, and Minister of State, Mr. Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, commending the efforts of the SBFs in the capital, Aden, in maintaining security and stability in the city.

Mr. Moawin asserted that the SBFs have achieved significant successes and victories, thanks to divine grace and their wise leadership, emphasizing the importance of maintaining the current pace of performance.

The commander of the SBFs of the capital, Aden, Brigadier General Jalal al-Rabi’ae, praised the troops’ performance during a demonstrated display, highlighting the need for keeping the training up to date to maintain a high level of readiness.

Brigadier General al-Rabi’ae emphasized that the SBFs in Aden have been, and will continue to be, the bedrock upon which the hopes of those who seek to undermine the security and stability of the capital city are shattered.

al-Rabi’ae reaffirmed that the SBFs in the capital, Aden, are fully committed to the directives of President Aidrous Qassem Al-Zubaidi and his deputy, Brigadier General Abu Zara’a al-Muharrami, for any assigned mission.

In turn, Mr. Fadi Ba’aum, member of the STC’s Presidium, Brigadier General Ahmed Hassan, Head of the Security Department of the STC, and Brigadier General Abu Bakr Jabr, Deputy Director of the Capital, Aden, Security, have lauded the significant security and military successes that have been achieved by the SBFs in the capital, Aden, and the South as a whole.

The graduating batch known as ‘Abyan Martyrs’ of the SBFs concluded their training with a display held this morning at the Martyr Al-Shubaji Camp in the capital, Aden, coinciding with the 53rd anniversary of the founding of the South Armed Forces. The event featured a military parade that highlighted the physical and combat capabilities of the SBF, reflecting the overall high-level skills in target engagement acquired during their training.

The graduation ceremony was attended by a member of the STC’s Presidium, Mr. Fadi Ba’oum, Major General Ali Al-Awlaqi, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Financial Resources Affairs, Major General Qaid Atef, the Deputy Governor of the capital, Aden, the Secretary-General of the Local Council, Mr. Badr Mo’awin, and the head of the Security Department of the STC, Brigadier General Ahmed Hassan, the official spokesman of the Southern Armed Forces, Lieutenant Colonel Mohammed Al-Naqeeb, the head of central operations of the SBFs, Brigadier General Moataz Al-Hawshabi, the Deputy Director of Security of the Capital Aden, Brigadier General Abu Bakr Jabr, and a number of southern security and military commanders of the South.
