Al-Kathiri attends the ceremony marking 61st anniversary of October 14 Revolution in Lahj

Ali Al-Kathiri, Acting President of the Southern Transitional Council, President of the National Assembly, witnessed on Tuesday, the artistic and rhetorical ceremony on the occasion of the 61st anniversary of the glorious October 14 Revolution in Lahj Governorate, under the slogan “Our Identity is Southern”.

The ceremony, which was organized by the local leadership of the Council in Lahj Governorate, under the patronage of President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council, began with the southern national anthem, and a minute of silence to recite Al-Fatihah for the martyrs of the October 14 Revolution and all the martyrs of the south.

It also included a documentary film that expressed the spirit of the liberation revolution and the southern struggle throughout the stages, a speech about the southern woman, poems, and the presentation of singing and folk dances that reflected the spirit of pride and honor in the southern identity, as the attendees in the hall raised the flags of the south, chanting slogans of loyalty to the homeland, which added an atmosphere of enthusiasm to the celebration.
