Al-Kathiri briefed on the progress of organizational work in the Transitional Council in Lahj and the general situation in the governorate

Mr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kathiri, Acting President of the Southern Transitional Council and Chairman of the National Assembly, met today, Wednesday, with Professor Wadah Al-Halimi, Chairman of the Executive Authority of the Council’s Local Leadership in Lahj Governorate.
During the meeting, which was attended by Professor Mohammed Al-Shaqi, Assistant Secretary-General of the General Secretariat for Governorate Affairs and Coordination, Al-Kathiri was briefed by Al-Halimi on the progress of organizational work in the Council’s Local Leadership in Lahj Governorate and its districts.
The two leaders also discussed the service and living conditions in Lahj Governorate, given the difficult circumstances the country is experiencing and the impact this has had on citizens’ lives.
Al-Kathiri praised the activity of the local leadership and its executive authority in Lahj Governorate, stressing the need to enhance coordination and integration between them and the local authorities and security services in the governorate, thus strengthening the foundations of security and stability throughout the governorate’s districts.
