Al-Kathiri briefed on the situation in Hadhramaut Valley and the work of the council’s auxiliary body in the valley

Mr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kathiri, Chairman of the National Assembly, was briefed on the general situation and developments in the districts of Hadhramaut Valley and Desert, in light of the escalating popular protests across the governorate. This was during his meeting with the head of the Executive Aid Authority of the Southern Transitional Council in the districts of Hadhramaut Valley and Desert, Mohammed Abdulmalik Al-Zubaidi.
During the meeting, Al-Kathiri heard from Al-Zubaidi about the progress of the authority’s work, the efforts it is making during this phase, and the level of its organizational and administrative performance. He also discussed the most prominent difficulties it faces and the means to overcome them.
The Chairman of the National Assembly affirmed the Southern Transitional Council’s full support for the people of Hadramaut Valley and Coast in their just and legitimate demands and their right to peaceful protest. He emphasized the importance of unifying ranks and strengthening the cohesion and solidarity among the people of the governorate to preserve its security and stability.
