Mr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kathiri, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council, on Thursday, in his office, met the Director General of the Local Water and Sanitation Corporation in the capital, Aden, Eng. Mohammed Bakhbira.
In the meeting, which included Dr. Anis Luqman, Vice President of the National Assembly, Al-Kathiri listened from Bakhbira to a number of implemented and under implementation projects in the water and sanitation sectors, and the Corporation’s future plans to improve the water and sanitation network, and the difficulties it faces in this aspect. .
Al-Kathiri stressed the need to develop solutions to overcome the obstacles facing the completion of the implementation of some projects to ensure their completion on time, and to redouble efforts to develop the infrastructure of this important sector, appreciating the support of President Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi and the Governor of the capital, Aden, Ahmed Lamlas, to the institution and their efforts to solve all the problems that arise. faced by the institution.
The Chairman of the National Assembly praised the efforts made by the institution to maintain the stability of the service to a minimum, stressing the need for the institution’s leadership to be keen to clarify the vision to citizens through the media, so that the institution’s silence does not reflect negatively on its performance.
