Al-Kathiri Gets Briefed on Workflow of Endowments and Guidance Ministry

Mr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kathiri, Acting President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Chairman of the National Assembly, met on Sunday, with Sheikh Jamal bin Attaf, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Endowments and Guidance.
In the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Al-Kathiri congratulated the leadership of the Ministry of Endowments and Guidance on the success of this year’s Hajj season. Then, he was briefed by Sheikh bin Attaf on the progress of work in the ministry and its role in supervising mosques, institutions, and religious centers to regulate religious discourse and spread the culture of moderation and tolerance.
At the end of the meeting, Al-Kathiri stressed the importance of activating endowment laws and strengthening the role of the ministry’s offices in the governorates, enabling them to preserve endowment lands and prevent tampering with them.
